About Us

Known Medicine combines patient-specific 3D cell culture and AI to translate cancer treatments to clinical success.  We’re an early-stage startup backed by Y-Combinator, Caffeinated Capital, Khosla Ventures, and other top funds and angels.

Known Medicine creates thousands of micro-tumors from patient tumor samples and tests drugs on each to determine treatment response. This machine learning-based sensitivity assay, paired with -omics data from patients, allows us to identify predictive biomarkers and the most likely responders for any new drug. We are currently engaging in partnerships, in-licensing and co-developing assets, and will discover new drugs as our data set grows.
